A gallery wall is one of the easiest ways to make your space look sophisticated and well put together. And don't think you can not do a gallery wall if you are short on funds, they do not need to cost a lot of money, anything can be framed. Try pictures from a book or a magazine – have any old copies of National Geographic laying around? Use that. Or hit the flea market and look for inexpensive options that can be framed. But today there are so many choices to buy affordable prints there is no excuse to have bare walls. Check out Society Six or MadebyGirl. If you are on a budget consider purchasing basic wood fames and second hand frames and painting them your self. You can paint them all one color or you can mix it up. Really it is all up to you, and the look you are trying to achieve. All white frames with the same finish? Or a mix of black and white, or white and gold, or all three? You can also try different shaped frames, and any wall can be a "gallery wall", do not be afraid to think outside the box. I love how this "space" under the stairs has been turned in to a gallery wall. And if you have a hobby or a love for a particular item or theme, turn it in to a gallery wall! Love dogs? Do a gallery wall of dogs (I am looking at you Canines and Couture), and mix it up: prints, photos, sketches, the more texture – the more interesting it will be. Or if you like etchings do a wall of those! Really the options are limitless and it is all up to you, and how you choose to express yourself. And simple is always good. I love the "gallery wall" in the first image – it only uses three images, but look how striking it it is. So let that inner curator out and get that gallery going!
